I completed the level two diploma in electrical installation with the guilds.
I was supported every step of the way right from the first phone call. The app and text book which are included in the price are a great way to learn at your own pace at home. There is a well equipped, immaculately kept workshop where you can attend practical classes. All abilities are catered for. Whether you’re already competent on the tools or a complete novice,like myself the lecturers will take time and patience to guide you through the tasks needed to complete the practical assessments. I’ve really enjoyed gaining more knowledge and learning new skills. I would definitely recommend this course and the guilds to anyone wishing get into electrical work.

Excellent !!! I was doing the electrician apprenticeship in Ireland but it was taking too long and you don't have a say in where you would be posted for your on-site experience. So I decided to do the City &Guilds electrician apprenticeship remotely. I can do it at my own pace and can pick which colleges I want to study with. I came across "The Guilds", and after talking to Luke, I enrolled for the 2365 diploma. Glad I did ! Bridget had me set up on their platform and I studied the notes they have. Their notes are a concise version of the entire course, complete with sample questions. An easy study. I gave Bridget my preferences for the online exam times and after 4 hours, she had me booked in. I started the exams a week later and noticed that I had already seen most of the questions - as sample questions on The Guild's platform. Follow their notes and samples and you'll pass no problem.
I went to Nottingham for the practical exam which was run by Ollie. He knows his stuff and has the time, patience and knowledge to take you through the entire practical. Their facility is excellent, clean and great equipment.
I wish I had found "The Guilds" at the start of my apprenticeship but better late than never. I'm now enrolled in the 2346 course and creating my portfolio with their guidance.
All in all, a great experience with them. Great people doing a great job. Keep it up.
