Introduction to the Level 3-2365 Electrical Installations

The 2365 Level 3 Diploma is designed as the next step from your Level 2 Diploma in Electrical installations, for anybody wanting to become a fully qualified Electrician.

You will be learning about all sectors including Domestic, Commercial and Industrial.

 

Entry Requirements

This Level 3 diploma is the natural progression from 2365 Level 2 Diploma, if you do not hold the 2365 Level 2 Diploma please call and speak with one of our course advisors. The course is open to anyone over the age of 18, it is recommended that you have achieved Level 2 in English and Maths but this is not a requirement and the course can still be completed without any prior qualifications.

 

Course Content

Each unit aims to give candidates the skills and knowledge to guide others through their learning process with constructive and accurate feedback, this is done through multiple-choice examinations, practical assessments and short written exercises.

The units covered are as follows:

  • Health and Safety in Building Services Engineering - 201 (601, 211)
  • Understand the fundamental principles and requirements of environmental technology systems – 301
  • Principles of Electrical Science – 302 (612 Task A & B)
  • Electrical Installations: Fault Diagnosis and Rectification – 303 (613 Task A, 623)
  • Electrical Installations: Inspection, Testing and Commissioning – 304 (614 Task A & B, 624)
  • Electrical Systems design – 305 (Task A, 625)
  • Career awareness in building services engineering – 308 (Task A & B)
