Class

Operatives working on or with voltages between 0-1000V is required to work competently to the BS7671. The 2382-18 City and Guilds qualification teaches learners knowledge of the wiring regulations, how to navigate and understand. You will be able to apply the regulations to your workplace after certification.

Our classes are designed to be completed over two days, giving us the ability to successfully achieve a weekend course including the examination.

Course Content

Our weekend classes will be held in the centre of the country in Nottingham City Centre. Your tutor for the course cover the BS7671 in great detail allowing you to have a greater understanding of how to access and use the information.

You will need to complete only one, 2 Hour Exam consisting of 60 Multiple Choice Questions. Achieving more than 60% is the pass mark. 

 

The examination has 8 seperate section that you will be tested on.
•     The scope, object and fundamental principles 
•     The definitions
•     Assessment of the general characteristics 
•     Requirements of protection for safety 
•     Requirements for selection and erection of equipment 
•     Requirements of inspection and testing 
•     Requirements of special installations or locations as identified in BS7671. 
•     Information contained within the appendices of BS7671.

Entry Requirements

The 2382-18,18th Edition has no formal entry requirements, however we recommend that you have an already existing knowledge of Electrical Installations.
